I thought you loved me!’ Big tears are streaming down your face. ‘I was going to tell you, I promise.’ he says, softer this time. ‘How am I supposed to believe someone who lied to me before? Once a cheater always a cheater. I don’t think I can be with you anymore, Joe.’ you whisper. You dash out of the room and out of Joe’s life.
