PREPARED (ROY) (((sigh))) Roy watched as Veronica’s long blond hair flowed down her back. He blue eyes were bright with laughter. Her pink, plump lips were stretched into a smile. “Come on, mate. Don’t just sit there. Ask her out!” Roy jumped in shock as his friend Dom whispered in his ear. For years Roy has had a major crush on Veronica Samuels. But he never had the ‘balls’ to go up and talk to her. As much as his friends tried, he never even talked to her. “No way… Maybe a different time. I’m not prepared. My hair looks like shit, my eyes have bags, and I ate a tuna sandwich of lunch. And the main reason I will not go up to her is because she has a boyfriend!” Roy complained as his eyes were still on Veronica. Dom rolled his eyes. “You’re such a girl. And I heard they broke up last week.” Roy whipped his head over towards Dom. What?! How did he not know this? I mean, yeah her boyfriend, Bertie, hasn’t been next to her everyday but… still. They had been dating for almost 2 years. “So now’s your chance. Here’s some gum” Don reached into his backpack to pull out some minty gum an throw it at Roy. “Now get your ass up and go get her!” Roy laughed. He really did have the best friend in the world. He stood up and stuffed a stick of gum in his mouth. He then fixed his shirt and ran a hand through his hair. This was his time to finally get Veronica.

DAY 4 - SNOWFLAKE (ROY) This fucking sucks, so sorry. “Daddy, look!” the four year old runs over to her father, sticking her hand in front of her. Roy crouches down to be face to face with your daughter. You walk over to see what Bella has. “Wow, that’s so cool!” Roy said over dramatically. You bend down to see that Bella is holding a half melted snowflake. “Mom, I caught a snowflake!” your daughter says. You smile and pick up a handful of snow on the ground. “Yeah, they’re pretty aren’t they? Each one is unique and special” you smile and give her the snow. “Do you still want to make that snowman today?” Roy asked Bella. He picked up her up, carrying her in one arm and held the other out to you. Your hands entwine like they were made for each other. You smile at your husband and your beautiful daughter, thinking that life couldn’t get better than this.
